Nora Williams, LMFT

Telehealth therapy for adults across the lifespan in California

Offering steady, thoughtful support through life’s transitions, losses, and life’s unfolding questions.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families in community mental health, education, and family court settings.

At this stage in my career, I maintain a small telehealth practice serving adults across the lifespan. I provide a steady, collaborative space for reflection, processing, and growth.

This website serves as a professional home for my work, including therapy, consultation, and reflective group experiences. Some offerings are clinical in nature; others are educational or wellness-based and are clearly described as such.

My work is mindfulness-informed, LGBTQ-affirming, and grounded in developmental awareness.

I support individuals navigating grief and loss, life transitions, aging, identity development, and questions of meaning. Therapy is collaborative and steady, paced in a way that feels respectful and manageable.

Sessions are conducted via secure telehealth for clients residing in California.

The fee is $175 per 50-minute session. Payment is accepted via credit card, HSA, or FSA. I operate as a private-pay practice and do not accept insurance at this time.

Due to prior professional roles, I am unable to provide therapy in situations involving previous mediation or court-related involvement with me.

BIRDING AS PRACTICE

Guided birding, mindfulness and group reflection

Birding as Practice is a small-group, nature-based experience that brings together birding, mindfulness, and shared reflection. The emphasis is not on identifying every bird, but on slowing down, paying attention, and noticing what arises through time spent outdoors.

Each gathering includes a guided birding walk followed by a facilitated group reflection. Themes may include attention, presence, impermanence, nervous system regulation, and meaning-making, offered in a spacious and non-clinical way.

This offering is educational and wellness-based and is not psychotherapy.

*A pilot Birding as Practice group is planned for Spring 2026.
